We grow the herbs used in our teas
We have four standard herbal teas that we make throughout the year. We make:
- Zingy Ginger
- Fragrant Peppermint
- Spring Sunrise
- Winter Solstice
Availability may be dependent on the seasons.
We also create new teas throughout the year depending on what we are growing and what is surplus to our needs. So call back soon. There is always something “on the boil” with out herbal teas.
Our herbal teas are created from herbs and spices grown on our farm – or sourced locally. They are grown free from chemicals and pesticides and are not irradiated.
In Australia and New Zealand, irradiation (used as method for pest control) is approved for use on imported fresh fruit and vegetables, plus herbs and spices and herbal infusions (herbal teas).
It is worth noting that the laws governing the use of irradiation can be applied to both domestically grown and imported food. The Australian Government clearly states that the irradiation of food is safe but we prefer to a more natural approach to our food.
